- Lumps on any part of the body.
- Non healing wounds.
- White patches, lesions or ulcers in the mouth.
- Difficulty in swallowing food.
- Any change in the voice.
- Persistent dry cough.
- Coughing up blood stained sputum.
- Indigestion, loss of appetite, aches in the stomach.
- Vomiting blood.
- Changes in the bowel habit.
- Blood in stool.
- Changes in bladder function. (difficulty in voiding, blood in the
urine, excessive urination.)
- White patches or ulcers at the tip or foreskin of the penis.
- Excessive anaemia.
- A sudden weight loss. (losing more than 10% of the weight with in 4-6 months)
- Low grade fever lasting for more than 3 months.
- Swollen lymph nodes at neck, axilla, or loin.
- Any changes in the moles or warts. (any bleeding, itching or changes in the size or colour.)
- Excessive bleeding among women during menstruation.
- Any spotting or bleeding between the periods.
- Bleeding/ spotting in women after intercourse.
The above symptoms always need not be indicative of cancer, but better not to ignore them and seek prompt medical attention.
